my favorite is "now i wanna sell my house and set fire to all my clothes and hire a priest to come and exorcise my demons even if i die screaming and i hope you hear it" - pure female rage like yeah girl i see you, you wanna do all these things bc even tho the relationship is over you still feel like every room in your house and every piece of clothing you own is intoxicated with his presence and you wanna hire a priest to exorcise your demons because there's a piece of him in every part of you and you need to get him out of your system even if you die in the process because carrying this weight hurts so much but also you hope he hears it because he deserves it - sorry i'll stop here because i have so much to say about this lyric and i could stay here typing forever
but i have other favorites like
"that was intertwined in the magic fabric of our dreaming" - kinda random, but since the first time i heard it i still find it crazy that someone's mind could describe something that we, ordinary people, would describe as "our music" like that - i cant even start on the fact that in the first chorus she uses "magic" and in the last chorus she changes to "tragic" just like hm... hello? sad beautiful tragic ???
"and i may never open up the way i did for you" - i just relate a lot to this one lol
