Bacon-wrapped oysters are a tasty appetizer that combines the salty taste of fresh oysters with the rich smokey flavor of bacon. The sour marinade gives these a burst of flavor that makes them a hit at any event.
Ingredients: 12 fresh oysters. 6 slices of bacon, cut in half. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper, to taste. Toothpicks.
Instructions: Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. Put garlic powder, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Put a toothpick through the middle of each oyster and wrap it in a half slice of bacon. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and put the oysters that have been wrapped in bacon on it. Use the lemon juice mix to brush the oysters. Place the dish in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bacon is golden and the oysters are fully cooked. If you want, you can serve it hot with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon juice on top.
