The real Me
The most beautiful gift you can give yourself, is the permission to be yourself, to express yourself freely and without judgment.
Thatās what Iām trying to do. Iām trying to convince myself that the best version of myself is the version in which I donāt really care about what others are thinking of me. Or what I think they are thinking. I know that I hold myself back way too often. And that I donāt express myself the way I really want to, despite the fact that I know others would prefer to see who I really am. What I really stand for, what Iām passionate about. Not the stripped down version of that.
I know that when Iām expressing myself, I feel so strong and happy. I feel like I can take on the world. Thatās when I feel most valuable, for myself, but also for the people around me. And I want more of that.
Iām gonna try to keep this in my mind and come back to these thoughts when Iām about to minimize or downgrade myself. Iāll try toĀ be less hard on myself. Iāll try to treat myself like I treat others or how I want others to treat me.Ā
