Shoving an oxygen mask over the restrained man's face, Tsumiki Mikan watched with a uninterested face as the anesthesia took the man under and his struggles faded. Really, they always said the same things in the end. But that didn't stop any of them from tormenting her in the beginning now, did it? They were all the same... Using sophistry and their own judgment to defend their actions.

"Huhuhuhu..." Picking up a scalpel, she turned the instrument over in her hands, staring at her own reflection on the blade. What gourmet meals would this victim make, she wondered. This one was an accountant, she hoped he wasn't as bitter as his attitude had been...

Her attempts at an incision however were halted when the phone rang from upstairs. Frowning at the interruption, Tsumiki spared one glance to her unconscious guest before exiting the room. Leaving the basement behind and walking up the stairs, Tsumiki entered her office and picked up the phone, instantly adopting another voice entirely. "U-Uhm... hello?... A-Ah, Sonia-san!... Oh, is that so?... N-No, that's fine! I-I'll be ready... B-Bye!"

Placing the phone back on the receiver, she allowed a sigh to escape. One of her appointments had been moved up, one with a Hajima Hinata. Now she'd have to rush through her organ extracting... What a bother.

Oh well, she couldn't deny she was fascinated with the young detective. He was always interesting to listen to during their sessions.

"Nanami-san! Sonia-san! Souda-kun!" he cheerfully greeted his friends.  It hadn't been too long since he saw the people he considered friends, yet he still couldn't help to feel overly excited whenever he saw them, or even when someone mentioned. "To what do I owe the pleasure of having all of you standing on my door right now?"

He glanced once more to the group of people and noticed someone he didn't expect to find. "Hinata-kun....is that you? This truly is a surprise!" he exclaimed.
