With the temple not even being a little hut yet, and in fact, basically being an interesting stone in the landscape, Neede nevertheless decided that he wanted to invite people to a little gathering, just like the other High Priests so frequently did.

Something about the atmosphere at the temple-to-be, however, made the guests behave a little strange. For no proper reason, Dany, wife of the harbormaster Zip, decided to make out with farmer Erknabalthaz.

Harmony, priestess of Gardan, was entirely unimpressed by such frivolous experimentation.

For whatever reason, Dany was quite unhappy with the party, while Erknabalthaz complained that it was nice enough.

While Neede visited the graveyard (to head into the catacombs and pay his respects to the dead chief), the burial grounds bore witness to more inappropriate, adulterous flirting, with Erknabalthaz giving his sister-in-law more attention than he should, and his red-headed wife Aisa doing the same to her ex-fiancé’s brother.

I noticed that there is exactly one household left in Round 6 of my Nordic neighborhood, so I’ll finally post it!

On an empty bit of land was, officially, the temple to the horse goddess Marhijo. It wasn’t much to look at, barely more than a few sticks in the ground, but self-appointed Priest Neede was doing his best.

Couldn’t be a temple to a horse goddess without a horse! Neede found her in a local market, being sold for more than he could afford, which was one of the reasons the temple was a few sticks in the ground. Nobody was completely convinced that he did pay for her at all, but nobody came forward to accuse him of anything.

To Neede’s great joy and pride, her presence did seem to attract the wild horses living on Harduz, with predictable results soon following.

Neede’s week concluded ... weirdly. After the party and the weird flirting going on there, more weird flirting occurred in the graveyard. Erknabalthaz and Valley ended up flirting, with his pregnant wife flirting with Wil right next to them. 

Since this is such a young household, with only one sim, not much happened. Single sims in this challenge are usually intensely busy gathering food, and building themselves a proper shelter, so not much time for socialising and drama.

Quite a few years ago, Neede Stone asked for permission to found a new temple. Now, finally, he has been given permission to harvest the resources for it by the chieftess, and has gotten to work immediately.
