There are so many images and memories in my head that I'd love to paint up and bring back to life. Well, you know, bring back in a way. I keep telling myself, just go for it. I even made a list of the scenes I'd love to revisit, even if only imperfectly, using the amazing tools of digital hand-painting from #CorelPainter or #Rebelle. This one ... well ... it's not one of the ones on the list ... but it is basically a scene I've seen a million times as I've driven down country roads here in the #MidAtlantic area. Those brief moments of magic where the sky and the sunlight and the compositions are breathtaking, but your car is traveling at 50-60 mph and the guy behind you is too close and there's no way you can pull over, hop out of the car and get the shot. Besides ... you left the camera at home again. So this one might be from my imagination but it's also representative of all those pretty trees up on those pretty hillsides, against those fabulous skyscapes. An homage to the ordinary.
I hand-painted this one from my #imagination / #memory ... (imaginary memory?) ... in Rebelle using their fabulous #watercolor technology and brushes, an ancient #Wacom tablet and my prize possession, the Wacom art pen. Not created using any artificial (Ai) programs.
