Big Chocolate is a dubstep/electronic/drum & bass artist and his most recent album HiLion will be reviewed today, and let’s see if it’s worth spending the money on the album from this artist. Also Big Chocolate has done a few remixes like for Breathe Carolina’s song ‘Blackout’.
HiLion (Feat. Grieves): The song stars of strong and immediately gets faster. It’s fun to listen to and there are a lot of elements in the song, but they have been balanced out greatly. The song consists of different parts, which are each very strong and powerful on their own. Also the vocals perfectly match the beats and melody and are in perfect harmony.
The song gets 4 out of 5 stars.
I Don’t Know You: The song starts of pretty fun and very energetic. The song is really fun to listen to. During the song the melody will slightly change, but it’s still very enjoyable to listen to. There are vocals, but since they come out that much I wont talk about them. The song has a great balance and has a great harmony.

Revelation: The song starts of really great and very powerful. It has a lot of energy and power within, and the melody is really strong. Also everything is balanced out really good, and it’s in like perfect harmony. The song weirdly reminds me a little of Skrillex, but I don’t mind. I think if the songs remind you a little of another artists you’re more familiar with, you’re somehow going to like that specific song just a little bit more.

Eye This Way (Electro): This is a more different song on the album, but it still has that ‘Big Chocolate touch’. It’s a lot of fun to listen to it. And it shows that the artist can do a lot of stuff and not just one genre. I really enjoy listening to the melody, which has a great balance and it has a great harmony.

Eye This Way (Drum And Bass): This is the same song as the previous song; the only difference is that it’s putted into a different genre. And you can hear that from the beginning. It’s still a lot of fun to listen to, and it still contains it great power and energy. But personally I like the other song better.

Sunlove: This is like a huge difference with the other songs (or at least the start is). And immediately you get a power punch, it’s a lot of fun to listen to the song. The words that are said during the song are from a great level. Also the song is really fun to listen to and is in a great balance. It’s like a happy song, and it’s just a lot of fun to listen to it. This is like the feel good song on the whole album. I really enjoyed listening to this song.

Byelion: This is the almost last song of the album and I can tell you the album ends with a blast. The song has a great start; the song has a lot of power and some guitar-a-like sounds. It’s really fun listening to it. Also the album ends kind off the way it started just with a lot more power. It’s a great song to end an album with; it’s very enjoyable to listen to it.

Praise 2011: This is the official last song on the album. And it has a lot of power and energy in it. It’s a lot of fun listening to the album and the song. Everything is balanced out greatly and the song is in great harmony. The power and energy at the beginning of the song gets carried to the end (the power and energy is present during the whole song!).

Overall: The album is fun to listen to, and has a lot of power and energy within. It’s a very strong album. And if you like electronic/dubstep music you should defiantly consider buying the album. You wont regret buying it. You’ll have a half hour of good music you will enjoy listening to.
Big Chocolate is a great artist who has a lot of talent in the genre. And if the work stays up like this his name will get big. His sound is already really powerful and full of energy. It’s just a lot of fun listening to HiLion. Even though there are not that much vocals in it, it sounds like the music is singing on it’s own, and that’s just incredibly much fun to listen to.
Towards the end a fun and happy song joins in which makes you just feel good about life. And it’s a lot of fun listening to the complete album. You should just buy the album if you’re into this kind of music and if you’re not you should too, just to listen to something different and new. The album has a lot of power and energy and is defiantly worth being bought. I enjoyed it a lot.
