Aquaman Legends: Siren
Hila first appeared in 1965 as Mera's twin sister and a black sheep of her family, who infiltrated the kingdom by posing as Mera at the order of her boyfriend Kandor. Post-crisis, she was reinvented a bit, having her come to Atlantis to finish the job Mera started of trying to assassinate Arthur for their kingdom of Xebel.
In an adaptation, Hila would be an excellent villain to use to flesh out the relationship between Atlantis and Xebel and give Mera a central role in the story. Given that a part of the story is Hila posing as Mera, a natural casting idea for her would be to either cast twins as Hila and Mera, or simply cast the same person who plays Mera.
