Our trusty steed. After 131,000 miles of adventure we still wouldn't trade her for anything. She's the perfect balance of size, capability, storage, and reliability. She also looks pretty cool if I do say so myself... đ. Some folks have said, "Hey, but what about the bearing issue at 113k?!", "I thought Toyota's are reliable!", and "Dude, you should have bought a Jeep!" Folks, you have to understand what this rig has been through over the past 5 years. She's seen things and been places in a single year alone that some rigs don't see in their lifetime. We conservatively estimate that about 25% to 30% of her miles have been off pavement (33k - 40k) and a lot of those on-pavement miles were in New Mexico which has some paved roads worse than a lot of trails out there.𤣠We don't fault her for needing parts after being rode hard and put up wet time and again, that's just cost of using something hard. At the end if the day she continues to get us where we need to go. And in spite of needing a few minor repairs; she's never left us stranded. As far as we're concerned, she's just now hitting her stride. And so we raise our glasses in salute to you, Silver. Well done and Hi-Ho to the next 131,000! đ All that so say... Stay tuned for some upcoming maintenance and upgrade videos on the old girl as we outfit her as a stand alone adventure rig. We might even get around to that walk-around video we keep talking about! 𤣠#hihosilver #4runner #notsponsored #toyotausa #betheoutsider #getlost #keepitwild #letsroll #overland #overlandrig (at Hatcher Pass) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwQkhsIFaAa/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=croy5dx9mmaz
