i don't believe in salvation

The story has given us plenty of reasons for this interpretation and honestly i like the dynamic more. Them both knowing that in a alternate timeline, if things had gone just a bit differently they would have seen each other as brother and sister is so interesting to me.

Them finding common ground in grieving coffin, laying their shared mother to rest, giving her a tombstone now that she’s moved on to the other side. The idea that through shared grief they are able to come together is a beautiful one to me. Death does not separate us and all that.

I overall wish they’re stories had been more intertwined but something like this would be so good in a story so focused on found family. Even though they weren’t raised together, they share a mother. They find comfort in each other through sharing similar pains, the pain of loss, the pain having to change for the sake of others, of knowing you are not perfect and that you are a bad person.

They are precious to me.
