hidden illness but it's just whumpee being too stubborn to admit they're unwell. sure, their throat is scratchy and their nose is running, it's spring, it's the pollen! sure, they ache all over—they're getting older, who isn't in a little pain all the time? and sure, they've woken up freezing cold every night this week, doesn't mean they've got a fever, they just need better blankets! everything's fine, they're definitely not sick, they CAN'T be sick.
