i will always defend part 1 characters not being perfect in part 2:
- bronya, who has never gotten to be a normal civillian in her whole life before now, having trouble adapting to life outside of the battlefield
- seele being ""overly"" protective of those around her, knowing exactly how precious life is
- mei having lingering insecurities about being powerless and wanting to do everything herself. i literally saw someone criticise her event as "undoing her charcter development" like god forbid the shit that happened to her still effects her
- theresa and durandal. literally after everything otto did to them im surprised they aren't more fucked up why did people expect them to be normal
- vita. if u went through 1/100th of what vita went throught u would have killed yourself idc im the number 1 vita defender forever and as far as im concerned she can do whatever she wants forever π
i just dont understand people who wanted these characters to be 100% perfect after the end of part 1 like its somehow spitting on their victory that they are psychologically affected by what they went through.
