don't imagine going shopping with Steel, doing a silly fashion show and finding cool outfits for each other. he's more than willing to ham it up for the both of you, showing off and strutting no matter what you put him in. he loves spending quality time with you like this-- and especially making you laugh with his antics
don't imagine a cosy night in with Mako, draped over him on the couch under a warm blanket while you snack on something and watch movies late into the night. he's asleep for long stretches of each movie, but his cute little nuzzles and purrs when he wakes up with you in his arms is just too sweet. he doesn't get to relax and be vulnerable often, and relishes these quiet moments with you
I know you said nothing could really fix Brick's cracked vertebrae and the disturbed magic there, does that mean healing magic can't be used to fix it? Or because in Horrorfell, healing magic is kinda almost nonexistent because those monsters have dusted?
No, healing magic can't fix it either. Maybe if it had been healed right away, before the injury set, it could've reduced some of the damage, but as it stands the most healing magic could do for him now would be to ease some pain, if and when it flares up.
A little bit like treating a lost finger with an ice pack--might've been more helpful to have that ice on it when the finger could still be reattached, but it's still kind of soothing on the ache even now, and the intent in the gesture (presumably a loved one trying to help you feel better) makes it sweeter~
