Hi, I'm a white roma from the UK but I don't know a lot about our culture and stuff since my nan's generation didn't pass on the traditions and stuff to my mum's generation. Is there anywhere you can recommend to start learning about our heritage and traditions that is lgbtq+ friendly?
Iβm sure the other admins have a lot more things to add, but I always recommend Laura Simmsβs The Gift of Dreams,Β itβs an anthology of Rroma folktales from across many of the ethic groups (though it focuses on the area around the Black Sea). Itβs meant for kids (I think) but itβs a really good resource if you were raised outside the culture.
Do any of the other admins have anything to add?
