They are joining the #gopromax, my first #Hero5Session and my #hero7black. Like the previous ones (except the Max), I have bought them used. Not only for the price (both together costed less than a new #hero9 or #hero10), but also, I like giving used devices further usage. Maybe you are asking yourself why I bought additional cameras instead of selling old ones to buy a more recent model. Actually for 2 reasons: - I am #filming a lot of my #movies during my #activities, and often in a group. In such a context, I try to avoid the filming to be too intrusive. No one likes waiting hours for the camera man, nor having to pass several times on the same action. So, filming has to be done on the spot, and when capturing, you have one go and have to make it a success first time. Having several cameras is a way to #capture several angles of one scene and maximizing chances of a good shot; - Second, I already have a #goprosmartremote that I use a lot: it has a great range, can control several cameras simultaneously and helps to capture specific shots (and avoid extremely long rushes...). And the 2 latest GoPro 9 and 10 do not connect to the #smartremote. But the 5 Session and Hero 8 do. I performed first tests during an #MTB ride with 4 cameras: - A Session attached to the seat stays pointing towards the rear, capturing the hub and cassette. FOV wide, 2.7K/48IPS, stabilized - A Session attached to the main frame, pointing towards the front and capturing the fork. FOV wide, 2.7K/48IPS, stabilized - The Hero 7 attached to the handlebar on the side, pointing towards the mainframe. FOV Superwide/Superview. 2.7K/60FPS, Hypersmooth 1.0 - The Hero 8 attached to the handlebar, looking forward. FOV Superwide/Superview. 2.7K/60FPS, Hypersmooth 2.0 All videos synced as they were started together with the remote. https://vimeo.com/743948911 (at Düsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch0NMgeLloi/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
