“Reunion” post credit scene!
Can y’all chill about Ashe and women diversity in Overwatch?
I’ve seen a lot of posts complaining about how Ashe looks like some of the other women in Overwatch (and therefore somehow Blizzard doesn’t care about female diversity) and honestly, you’re overreacting. Some of the models and faces are very similar, that I won’t deny. But saying that Blizzard doesn’t have any women diversity because of this is ridiculous. Mei is a plus-sized Chinese woman who has a compelling backstory and is a accomplished climatologist. Symmetra is an Indian woman with Autism. Orisa is a big robot horse made by an African girl. Moira is an Irish woman, brilliant genetist, and stands about a foot taller than most everyone else. Even Ashe is a different character, yes she is white (white people exist too, still diverse), but she came from an affluent family and chose a new path for herself. I could go on, about how Pharah and Zarya are women in the military and Mercy is a woman in medicine, Tracer is LGBT representation, ect. but I think you get the point. Blizzard puts a lot of work into character diversity so y’all need to chill about the face models.
Made some quick Ashe icons cause I love her. Like or reblog if you’re using them!
