Good morning!  I hope you slept well and feel rested?  Currently sitting at my desk, in my study, attired only in Blue Towelling Robe No. 1, enjoying my first cuppa of the day.    

Wow!  Here we are again: Friday!  Where did that week go?  No, seriously, where did that week go?

Last week, the nurses would not discharge me until I had urinated.  They wanted to make sure hernia surgery hadn’t affected my waterworks.  It hasn’t and, you’ll be pleased to know, everything still works!

Maybe I shouldn’t have?  Maybe it’s too much too soon?  But, yesterday, I ran an errand!  All the way down to SE3; Blackheath station.  Fantastic area!  Huge houses, great shops and restaurants and a lot of green!  It looked familiar.  I can never remember where Johnny Haywood drove me to when I did shows on LWR but these houses looked very familiar!  Back then, I didn’t really know South London that well.

Whilst looking through old photos, I found a school picture of my class at Highgate Primary School on North Hill, more than 50 years ago, and I was amazed at how many names I remembered.  People I haven’t had contact with for 50 years: Cyril Simsa, Mignon Cash, Isobel Hughes, Setara Campbell, Gary Apostolou, Lena Georgiou, Olu Akinsete, Keith Hornbuckle.  Where are they now?

Investment firm HarbourView Equity Partners has announced a strategic partnership with Wolf Cousins, the songwriting collective founded by Shellback and Max Martin, two of the most successful songwriter-producers of the last 30 years.  As part of the transaction, HarbourView has acquired the publisher’s share of select compositions written by the Wolf Cousins collective, which includes hit songs by Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons, Ellie Goulding and many more.  The acquisition price is in the low nine figures.  “Low nine figures” sounds quite innocent but it’s $100,000,000 at the very least!
