Hot take: the Marseille configuration of major arcanas are correct in the Qabalistic sense(not the Jewish sense, the esoteric sense), The Fool comes between The Last Judgement and The World, and the Channels between sephiroth go from Malkuth to Kether. If you do this and slightly tweak your Hebrew alphabet chart, you can give The Moon and The Sun Cancer and Leo respectably, which not only makes sense since moon rules Cancer and sun rules Leo, but lets them get on the Binah-Geburah and Chokmah-Chesed channel each, which fits neatly to the Emerald Tablet. It's also the reason why 1) I gave up on the Rider-Waite-Smith deck and am sticking to human-based random number generation(the traditional ordering just doesn't vibe with me), and 2) I actually prefer Crowley's Thoth deck to RWS(because unlike the rest of the Golden Dawn-related personnels, he had the AUDACITY to not alter the numberings given by Eliphas Levi)
