'Why Didnāt You Say?' maybe o!jack, a!tim, o!rhys ?
Jack had been acting strangely lately.
Both Rhys and Tim had long grown use to the omegaās irritability and volatile mood swings, casting between cheeky annoyance and pissy rage attacks, but lately theyād both been thrown for a loop with the sudden change in Jackās demeanor. He moped about the house more than usual, draping his body limp over the couch or curling up in bed, blankets wrapped about him like a cocoon. He kicked at Rhys whenever the other omega tried to invade his space, but instead of launching into a verbal tirade or trying to prove his dominance by pinning Rhys down against the bed, he merely retreated back into his blanket nest and curled up even tighter.
Finally, after a couple of days, Timothy found himself both frustrated and concerned about the omegaās state, so heād scoured the surprisingly empty bedroom one day after work with Rhys at his heels. Finding the bed deserted had at first been a surprise, and Tim was on the verge of freaking out when Rhys had yanked open the closet door, revealing a lump of blankets and pillows and several of Timās suits and sleeping shirts, crowned by a tuft of brown hair and a pair of irritable, red-rimmed eyes that peaked out above one of Timās maroon sweater vests.
āGo āway,ā Jack had groaned, trying to burrow himself deeper into the nest only for Tim and Rhys to carefully flank him, the omega squeezing himself into the remaining space between the nest and shoe rack, while the alphaās strong arms slowly propped Jack up. Tim rested his cheek against the top of the bundled omegaās head, nuzzling into his hair to get his scent all over his mate.Ā
āYou feel really warmā¦ā Tim commented, brushing his hand over Jackās forehead as he took a curious sniff at the air.
āMmmmā¦fineā¦ā Jack groaned, weakly trying to push at his two mates, but the constricting comforters got in the way. He glared accusingly at his own nest, before giving up and flopping back against Timās shoulder.Ā
āYouāre clearly sick. Heās sick, Tim.ā Rhys replied, ignoring how Jack glared at him. Tim shook his head, shifting Jack more fully against him.
āYou should have told us,ā Tim admonished, earning him a snort from Jack but nothing more, most of the fight and sass draining under the wear of his illness. The omegaās body slowly unwound, his labored breathing gradually evening out against Timothyās neck as the omega finally got some decent sleep, allowing himself to be lulled by the presence of his two mates.
