My first favorite is the Tangerine Tranquility flavor. I probably had a bit too much caffeine coursing through my veins to notice any true "tranquility", but that's not what I was looking for. I'm all about the flavor and pairing it with the perfect tea or food. Naturally, I popped a tube just to get a dose of honey. This honey has tangerine essential oil which offers a bit of a bitter flavor and I'm in love with it. I'm a fan of tonic water and bitter, earthy red wines so, the slight bitterness was a bonus for me. Don't be scared...it's not an overpowering bitter...it's actually very refreshing. Ok then...on to adding it to my tea. I picked a pure cinnamon herbal to sweeten with this honey. Yep...just crushed cinnamon in a sachet, steeped in boiling water. You guys...get this honey and get some cinnamon tea. The combination of of this honey with cinnamon was absolutely delicious. I often use cinnamon tea by itself in the evening so I'm not up all night from caffeine. What a relaxing cup this made. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Next up is the Lemon Stress Less. Again, I popped open a tube to eat/slurp alone just to get the full effect of the flavor. My goodness...unbelievable. If you like lemon, you will be totally enamored with this honey! Again, there is that slight bitterness from lemon essential oil (which happens to be one of my fave essential oils) mixed with this earthy goodness. Hmmm...what to do with this flavor? I toasted a slice of whole rye bread and spread a drizzle of this honey on it and brewed a cup of an herbal tea that I had on hand. My tea had lemon balm and lemon grass mixed with a few other herbal ingredients and sweetened with this lovely lemon honey. This was one of the most amazing cups of tea I've had in a while!
