We're often told to do what makes us feel good not realizing all isn't good for us. I've found myself renting my body, mind, and soul to people who couldn't wrap their mind around how priceless and precious I am. I was drunk in my damages, not thinking I'd be good enough for a relationship to last longer than a year. I found myself compromising my comfortability and my confidence to not be left alone not realizing I was alone even in relationship. Its all a sham. Feeling closeness when a person is inside of you. It's so counterfeit. When I say having the presence of the Holy Spirit with you and working through you is like no other feeling, no other place in the world. There is no man or woman that can fulfill your wants, needs, and desires the way God can. I choose the living water so that I may never thirst again. So I may not continue to gargle the Gatorade of guys that see nothing in me past their own pleasure. It won't be easy but it is so worth it. My body is not my own. It is a temple, a mansion for my Father God to kick it, to heal, to enlighten, to bring joy, to use for His glory. Anything outside of that can watch from the gates. The guards will not be letting you in. To my future husband (if its in God's will), I pray God is pruning, preparing, and healing you for the moment we meet. P.S. So, He sends His Son Jesus to sacrifice Himself on the cross, which would lead to our sins being erased & our souls set free when we believe in Jesus’ work. Jesus had the job of reconciliation & all of us who follow Him have that same job to do everyday. Our actions, our words, can either divide or unite our communities. We have the choice & we must choose wisely. Jesus is coming soon & when He does, it will be too late for any non believer to start believing. If you look at it, the cross itself gives the symbol of unity. Notice how the two lines meet in the middle, making the structure what it is. They may go different ways but they meet in the middle, allowing the structure to stand and be used. In the same way, Christ allows for us believers who may think differently, act differently, & speak differently, to meet in the middle and act of one accord. Christ’s accord. The structure that gets held up is God’s Kingdom. I encourage you to be patient with your brethren, especially those you may not agree with. We are not going to agree on everything, but we can agree that Jesus came to save EVERYONE & that we are to love each other as we love ourselves. Also, today’s verse lists God as the source of our ENCOURAGEMENT & PATIENCE so let us pray to Him before going out in the world. Let us seek His help & hold His hand as He walks us through our valleys and over our mountains in Jesus Name.
