Although a cat was definitely trying to help me take this photo, it did not end up being a photo of a cat.

It’s been a long day for Purrim and I. We spent 9 hours at @csuvethospital so she could get a CT scan and Rhinoscopy for her nose issues. Unfortunately because it was never addressed correctly, the inflation has eaten all of her tissue away and she just has empty space. There is not much they can do besides some antibiotics and steroids to get the infection under control and try to ease the information. She did amazingly well and came home,ate and then sat under the Christmas 🎄Tree as you can see. She is a real trooper and I’m glad we have done all we could to make sure she is comfortable and loved. We are still waiting on some biopsy results next week, but she should live a good long life. Thanks for all your support and kind words today. Update time! 🎉 We had a busy non-work day taking Purrim to @csuvethospital in an attempt to help her allergy & intestinal issues. What a great experience! We were there for 5.5 hours and Purrim did wonderful. She came home w/ 4 antibiotics & an ear wash. I’m hopeful that we have a plan to help get her less itchy and increase her quality of life. 🐾 As many of you were asking about her and this Ajoite I posted in our story, I thought I would give you an update together. Today is a big day at Hands of Spirit! Not only do we have our Etsy Shop Update this evening, but our new furbaby arrived late last night. As some of you know, I am heavily involved in rescue work in Florida. This kitty has been at the rescue 7 yrs. She has not been adoptable due to the issues with her skin as you can see. She had a home visit from my amazing vet this morning. She is in rough shape but we are doing all we can to ease her discomfort and heal the issues going on. She is a huge love bug and very friendly. I was able to pick her up right away. My pitch is to remember the small rescues. They get overloaded with so much and a $5 donations makes a world of difference. We are beyond excited to announce that Flicker, a special needs cat will be arriving Tuesday, the 28th to join our family. She comes from my rescue @unitedpawsrescueinc She is 7 years old and was found on the street as a kitten. She has been at the rescue for 7 years because of bad allergies that make her scratch herself and she can look pretty rough. The vets believe it is bad allergies. My sincere hope is that bringing her to a dryer climate, will help alleviate the constant issues she deals with. Wish us luck. She will be slowly introduced to our other three kitties and we are crossing our paws that everyone gets along beautifully. We will share pictures as soon as soon as possible.
