Hmm, my oc valorie is like literally a demon with very little moral compass, so like realistically for their character, some harmful paras would be on the table

but! I don't wanna look like those "it's fiction, bro, it doesn't affect reality" guys because I'm not, and that mentality is like... objectively wrong, and I'm also anti-contact, pro-recovery!!- so if I were to allude to any of my ocs doing that stuff, (for the plot, I want to avoid projecting any fanservicey things onto them), I would like to very clearly state that I don't condone any of those actions, especially when they happen in person. I would like to have an evil freak kinda character WITHOUT blurring the lines of fiction and reality

Does this mean I can just have a super mean asshole character with no sustenance or redeeming qualities?? no. I would like to avoid that

But I think I can have a morally bad character like an antagonist without them just being a trauma sponge and having no consequences whatsoever (doesn't even have to be from other chars). I think it's okay to have a purposefully evil character and convey that explicitly, making it clear that you, like, shouldn't be like that, and still have them be likable without excusing or glorifying their actions
