#helluva mayberry

I loved Ms. Mayberry in her episode, especially her design. And then we learned her and Martha are together. And then we learned that she's a lesbian. Poor girl was comphetting so hard when she was alive. I'm glad she's been able to find herself in Hell.

My theory is Mayberry is gonna be given character focus in season 3 and won't be limited as a cameo like season 2. For starters, she is significant character as she the first character to speak in the series (as the Helluva Boss pilot is not canon). She is I.M.P's first client we meet. She also the first and so far only client that has pride merch of herself. Not even Loopty Goopty, who appeared as early as season 1 episode 4 and is voiced Brandon Rogers himself, has any pride merch yet.

We also learn that Mayberry is lesbian before we learn what her first name and maiden name is. I don't think this is a coincidence. I think that Vivzie/Spindlehorse is basically telling us without directly telling us that we are gonna have kind of Mayberry background episode. To explain why she loved (or *loved*) her once husband Jarod despite being a lesbian.

I know some people are probably gonna go "but Stolas is also gay and he knew he didn't like Stella from the start" the difference is that Stolas got a terrible first impression of Stella (like seriously Paimon, how did you think your small child was gonna react to that photo you showed him?) and things Stella did after Stolas meeting her in person didn't give him any better opinions on her. Mayberry, on the other hand, for all we know could have been given a great first impression of Jarod. Hell, it's possible Jarod could been very nice to her a lot when they were together (hence why she feels bad about forgetting about his birthday), until he cheated on her. Being in the closet or not, having someone who you truly believed loved and cared about you, cheating on you out of nowhere would really hurt anyone.

While Helluva Boss is more about hellborns, and Mayberry isn't a hellborn, that doesn't mean she won't have at least a short to focus on her, and her relationships.

TLTR: I think Mayberry's story is far from over and the Merch is pointing to that. We can finally know her real name and self.

Why do I feel like this bit from Hell's Belles is meant to hint/foreshadow/give us a peak at the courtship of Marthaberry?

I mean Mayberry already went after Martha with a chainsaw once. Don't see why she wouldn't do it AGAIN. And Martha is exactly the type who would get her own chainsaw to go after Mayberry right back.
