Across the pondโฆ in a lone estate guarded by the best men money could buy. An aged, blonde woman sat, smoking on a cigar.
Behind her, a tall, thin man dressed in red loomed, eyes shining the color of blood. He leaned down, breathing out in anticipation as sharp fangs neared her neck- โAlucard.โ
โฆThe man rose, and was infront of her in an instant. โYes, My Master?โ
โIโm sending you across the way. America. Seems there is some activity that may, or may not, be in your area of expertise.โ
โโฆVery well, Master. Is the Police Girl going to be joining me?โ
โNo- Seras will be staying behind, Alucard.โ
โUnderstood.โ
โA plane is already chartered- your belongings and coffin have been stored in the cargo hold as usual.โ
โโฆThis is not a recent development, is it, Master Integra?โ
The blondeโs thin lips raise slightly. โNo, Alucard. It is not. More a thin excuse to send you away.โ
The man sighs, and bows, before disappearing in a cloud of bats.
One flight later, a plane would land within the airport nearest where the possible vampire activity was reportedโฆ a city of โHeroesโ. Two nondescript men would wheel the luggage- a massive, ornate coffin of dark wood- out of the plane and airport and to a local hotel.
Once situated, the coffin slowly peaks openโฆ and a surge of dark power and bloodlust would radiate into the grand city.
It was a slow day at the Safe Haven City Tower, the heroes were going about their normal business; going over reports, training, chatting, etc.
Then, all the Eldritch felt a huge amount of dark power and bloodlust, sending all of them into a small panic and putting them all on edge before they all calmed down a little.
Toph: What was that?!
Smokescreen: No clue!
Sunsanity: Should we go check it out?
Luna: Yes.
Fern: But where do we look? We have no clue where it came from.
Poppy: We're checking all reports and channels, most of them are near the airport.
Elliot: *using Commander* Luna and Sunsanity! You two will go and investigate the airport. Stay in touch with us at all times.
Luna: Yessir!
Sunsanity: Understood!
The solar-lunar duo head out and fly towards the airport.
