I just need to post this here because I cannot praise the concept of the Auditor enough for this movie. I will joke about how paperwork in Hell is goofy but this character was a show stealer. I LOVE this character in this film. I need more of him, but it needs to be done well.
He's like just vanilla and shy enough to stand out but his Voyeuristic Tendencies really give you a hint that he also does fit right in to Leviathan's Labyrinth. His energy is so good. He is all business. He is sympathetic to the people he audits, but in a way of like how a detective fakes sympathy to get you to talk. He's a well read man. He says that "pain is nothing more than a common currency" and then threatens a pedophile with a straight razor and says that he will "spend some pain" on the dude. First fucking scene of the movie. And it's GREAT.
But the ending of this movie fell so damn flat for a Hellraiser movie. I know I skipped a lot and some of the later ones, even with Doug Bradley, may also have this issue, but my problem was I was having fun with this movie and the ending felt like it sucks all the fun.
Anyway. The Auditor. Love him /platonic
