Eddie snorted. “You’d be surprised by what metalheads are into, sweetheart.” He brushed some hair out of her face and she nuzzled into his touch. “But for me, it’s always been you.”

“Me?” She whispered in that sweet adorable way that jumbled his insides with giddiness.

“Since the middle school talent show.” He confirmed and she smiled shyly. “Chrissy, I’ve told you this before!”

“I know!” She giggled. “It just still blows my mind that you liked me even back then.”

“Me liking you blows your mind?” He laughed at the absolute ridiculousness of that. “Get real, Chrissy Cunningham! I still can’t believe you’re into me at all. This feels like a fuckin’ dream to me.”

“It’s not a dream. I’m right here.” She murmured into the shell of his ear before she kissed his cheek.

Real life has been so demanding recently (my job has been deadline-galore and costing me some fic productivity), but I'm super happy to report that I have now finished PART SEVEN, which was a real challenge due to it being the 💕tonal shift💕 which I wanted to do justice!

so the pilot on my flight was exceedingly nice and charming (which was good considering it was a 5am flight that got pushed to fucking 7am AFTER we boarded) and it got me thinking about how i've heard that pilots flirt relentlessly and sleep around (which irl kinda icky but in fic...)

and then naturally my brain went eddie as a pilot who constantly flirts with chrissy the flight attendant

but then my brain was like lol wait no eddie couldn't be a pilot he'd be like an air traffic controller or one of the luggage guys that seems more his style

BUT!! he would still find ways to flirt with chrissy the flight attendant by Any Means Necessary

for instance:

paying off the gate agents with weed to let him know which flights she's on so he can be the one to resupply the beverage carts

hanging around the jetbridge when she flies into their base airport so he's the first person she sees after landing

idk that's all i got off the top of my head but one thing you should know about me is the terminal is one of my favorite movies of all time so if i can finangle some kinda au like it, i will.
