I'd like to tell ya'll a story. One that hasn't ended yet, but is coming to an end.
I got a new job a week ago, started June 14th, and from the interview it seemed like my dream job.
Fast forward to 23rd, receiving an email about a conversation that I had with our office manager, and find myself mentally standing on the edge of quiting said dream job.
I'm lucky enough that my parents are supportive (as i have moved 2 hours away for this position and they have been here to listen to all the previous things that have happened even before I started at the job). The email pertained to me not having enough clients, in a new position, where they are supposed to find the clients for me to treat. In short, the email and phone call from the previous day were nothing short of inappropriate. Knowing that my new coworkers (all who have been wonderful) have told me it is indeed not my job, it was beyond frustrating and devastating to hear that the man who owns the business ALSO believes I should be the one to create my caseload, and on top of that allow his office manager to threaten my job by telling me they can't pay me when I do not have the patients, and that I should clock out if my day falls through. ALL AT DAY 8.
So I sent them my notice, only for the man to DECLINE it, which for any young ppl without jobs reading, you can't do that. It was almost laughable. Not only that, they are ignoring in entirely.
Guess whose done with the bs 🙋♀️
