Misery
@helicrazy
He's incessant.
Always there, always somewhere in the corner of his optic.
And always on his mind.
Not a day goes by when he doesn't think of Vortex at least once. The seed has sprouted its roots all throughout his processor; cutting out one root seems to make three more grow. Vortex's persistence has led Blaze to seclude himself even more just to avoid seeing the mech who treats him like some plaything.
Always trying to touch him. Always trying to poke his buttons.
Now, with a certain secret no longer being secret, Vortex has doubled his efforts to get his servos on Blaze. In response, Blaze has tripled his evading skills.
Here's the thing: he's gotten better and the past few weeks only prove that. Blaze is faster, smarter and he's even been able to trick Vortex a few times which led him to a swift escape. None of them dissuade Vortex from trying again and today isn't any different.
At the outskirts of a city, in a district left abandoned, Blaze rushes through the maze of the streets. Luck isn't on his side and the sound of familiar rotors is closing in on him.
But Blaze still has a few cards up his sleeve and flight just might be one of them. He doesn't take to the skies just yet. He wants Vortex lured in to the ground.
:: Don't you ever get tired? :: He calls him out as he slips inside a nearby opening to what used to be a shop once.
