Aku pernah singgah pada kemungkinan yang salah. Begitu lelah menggantung pada pilihan paling semu. Harap tetaplah harap. Bahkan sehelai rambutpun akan kugenggam erat.

Just follow orders || Helai
Kenai had slept... fairly well. Ah, well as good as one could when you were anxious and planning a trip. He tossed in bed half the night, his mind refusing to take a break and sleep. Five am rolled around early and he was up. He had already packed, so he sat on the end of his bed with a cigarette lit between his fingers, idle. He was too distracted to even smoke, and soon it was ashes and a stub. He threw the butt away and brushed up the ashes with his fingertips once they were cooled enough to touch. He brushed his hands on his pants, leaving a trail of dark soot-like markings. He checked his phone for the time and grabbed his things. He had about ten minutes now. He would be early outside, but he wanted to get there before Helga and it would kind of ruin the effect if they ran into each other on the stair case.
The cab had already arrived and the engine was humming away under the hood. The cab driver rolled down his window when Kenai came out. "It'll just be a few minutes, thanks." Kenai didn't want the man to become impatient. He nodded silently and rolled his window back up. Kenai loaded the luggage and waited for Helga to come outside, hoping she would be soon.
Text: Grit, you naughty scoundrel, have you been avoiding me? I haven't seen you around! But whatever, 'cause I've got a bloody fucking SURPRISE for you.
text: haha, sorry, I’ve not been trying to. I’ve been figuring out this new phone since I broke my other one. So I’ve been glued to this one and talking to my mum a lot……I….what…..Did you just say bloody?? *dies on the floor laughing*
text: Oh, right. And yes, yes I did just say bloody. What the fuck is wrong with that? What's so funny. Anf fuck it, I said I had a bloody fucking SURPRISE FOR YOU, YOU RASCAL.

Kitten Kisses → Helai (Helga & Kenai)
Kenai grumbled at the text message from Helga, saying that he would have to compete with a hairless cat for the best kiss. He shoved his phone into his back pocket when he stood up, rolling his eyes in disgust. He didn't mind that Helga got herself a new pet, that was her choice. But the teasing, uhg, he did not appreciate it. Kenai ran his fingers though his hair, frustrated, and tugged on the ends. "Better kisser than you lover bear boy," Kenai quipped in a high pitched tone, "You're jealous of my cat. He's so cute and snuggly." He rolled his eyes again, shaking his head. He cleared his throat quickly, in case he had created some kinks that would make his voice crack later. "Maybe I shouldn't have told everyone about my totem." He picked up his coat and slung it over his shoulder as he walked out the door, unsure if he would actually want to wear it or not later.
Kenai strolled down the hallway and descended a few flights of stairs until he reached the floor Helga's room was on. He ambled down the hallway until he found her door, knocking at it as he leaned against the frame.

Up on the rooftop, sick sick sick → Helai
Kenai had been lounging on his back in bed while texting Helga. His ribs were sore as hell when he didn't take the medication, but he wasn't about to admit to anyone that. The doctor and nurse had given him a strong prescription drug for the first few weeks, but he was in denial about actually taking them. He didn't think it was right to let your body become slow and your mind weak due to a drug. He wanted to heal naturally, even if it became painful. He kept the drugs though, just in case, leaving them alone on the counter behind his other hygiene items. Kenai got up slowly and stretched his arms over his head. The tight bandages around his chest kept his ribs from hurting at the moment. The bandages were only temporary, as the tightness could actually damage the bones more than aid in the healing process. He had made the choice to use them and was only going to wear them for the first week or two. Kenai looked down at his t-shirt and could see the texture of the bandage beneath it. He groaned and reached for a sweatshirt, knowing he might get overly hot. He didn't want Helga to become upset if she noticed them, and he would try to move normally. Lastly, he grabbed his phone and jammed it into his pocket.
He opened the door to the room and checked down the hall to make sure it was empty. No one was there and he closed the door again. He crossed the room and opened the window. He leaned forward, looking at how far up he was. Four stories wasn't too bad in his opinion. He slid over the windowsill and crouched on the slightly vertical incline. He closed the window shut over halfway before moving on. He found a place on the roof where it was more level and decided it was as good a place as any.
The Jump → Helai (Helga & Kenai)
Kenai: was quick to grab his things, fishing out a pair of sunglasses before he left. The cabin door slammed and clicked behind him as he jogged down the steps towards the beach. He was eager to go. Get his blood pumping and do something fun, exciting. Soon he saw Helga on the beach and met her halfway. "There ya are!" He burst out loudly, "Ready ta go?"
