Uhh elaboration... The twins! They have almost identical costumes, matching like you said, the only obvious visual difference is their capes (Night gets his hood and Dream gas the high collar) and probably their eyelights! Maybe w/ color more obvious details would show up? (And a win! Night keeps both of this eyelights! At least so far!)
Also, I the backpack detail was a bonus but like. I could totally see them hiding their suits inside a secret compartment + keeping them on afterwards lol. Holds their lunches abd school stuff too 🙏 (tbh I just wanted to give them chest accessories lmao)
Their symbol is ALSO optional but. Smth smth Night's moon takes the positive space while Dream's sun fills the negative space? My time in the fnaf dca fandom prepared me for sombining these two symbols >:3
Killer!! I Can't recall if his soul stays out in this au so, under the assumption his costume can help conceal it, I wanted to do one w/o hehe. I loved the idea of a full mask over his head, and to match it a full bodysuit! All the belts hold his weapons and other supplies he'll need since the suit has no pockets. Then uhh. The black stripes on the face conceals tears that might leak through while the 'tears' on the body are both tiger stripes and knife gashes!
His other ref is because tbh, he gives big 'wears suit under clothes' vibes just from a bear minimum, so it's just an alternative outfit that gives him a good jacket and pants! (The symbol on the back I feel was fun haha, completely my insanity)

Yeah, I really did not need to draw him but! You know me, I Can't get enough of this loser! So! Goth/punk vibes, the cloak hood w/ the street/techwear jacket under it and the skinny jeans w/ platform boots. Lots of straps and buckles and things that should be loud that. Just aren't. Very scary for ppl he sneaks up on! And then my TRUE self indulgence is the daredevil-esque mask that helps shadow him incase his hood gets pulled down, and a lil false devil tail hanging from his coat! Then the optional symbol being a lightning strike that kinda looks like a half-heart!
(Something you said about the twins covering their skeleton features made me think about sometimes monsters disguising as other monster species when they do their hero/vigilante/villain work. Like, Night and Dream's masks (stylistically) look a little like bird beaks in the spaces their noses would sit. Dust obv I leaved into the demon motif, and I was FIGHTING to not add little bumps like cat ears to Killer's mask/hood lmao! Just some physical traits that lead people off the scent, especially for vigilantes who need to stay anonymous. Also the reason I more or less gave Dream+Night the normal hero suits while Killer has an alt w/ baggier accessories, so it's harder to discern the body-type!)
