Could you do a Ivar x reader fanfic where the reader and Ivar have been friends since they were thirteen. (They always play chess together, etc) She moved to Kattegat with her father a fur trader at that time. Ivar and the reader developed a friendship, she even consoled him after the situation with Margrethe. He gets more possessive later on, when he’s king Ivar gives the reader a choice. Marry him willingly or he’ll take her by force. He makes sure she can’t escape Kattegat, it’s checkmate.
