Just to raise awareness at the situation in Canada right now to my non-Canadian followers: Toronto has been ranked as having the worst air quality in the world right now due to wildfires.
Toronto is not a wildfire-prone area. It is extremely close to the USA border, and the smog is currently affecting NY right now. There is literal chunks of debris in the air. The sky is orange, and the sun is nowhere to be seen.
Climate change and its effects are right outside your door. Data centres are the cause for the insane heat waves across the globe, and the increase in wildfires and other natural disasters.
You will watch recordings of the world burn around you, and only when you are behind the camera will you realize there is no going back.

I know it's generally considered a rich people thing and a luxury because it's expensive to install AC systems (at least in GB?, idk about the rest of Europe), but you don't deserve to rawdog these heatwaves with just whatever tips n tricks you come across online. Climate change isn't giving a choice.
Praying for yall that enough demand for adaption will get your governments and whoever else to move their asses and make AC more accessible to you.

I have never understood the narrative that hot weather makes people horny. I hate hot weather, if someone so much as touches a fingertip or elbow to me i would go fucking feral and rip them to shreds.

as you may know already (if you keep up with my posts) i live in europe, where's a very big heat wave is happening right now. It's worse than the last one, the temperature in my country could reach up to 46 degrees. it's horrible, the Danube in Budapest has dried up like never before, the water level has dropped so much that you can walk almost to the middle of it without touching the water. Lake Balaton (the biggest lake in hungary) is also drying up, there are parts on the southern shore where you can walk a lot into it because it is so dry. There has never been a heatwave like this before. My grandmother is 73 years old and she said she has never experienced the Danube to look this dried up EVER in her life. In the last heatwave, almost all the dogs died in my neighborhood because they couldn't handle the hotness. The heatwave is so strong right now that wildfires are happening all over Europe. The prime minister in hungary put out an announcement that they probably will shut down the biggest nuclear powerplant in Paks, the powerplant they haven't turned off EVER in the last 42 years. We have to save our resources and be extremely careful with them, we can't use our water to anything else other than drinking it and showering with it. It's serious, and honestly, I'm very scared right now. I wake up in panic and fear every morning, mostly to the thing that I can barely breathe because it's so hot. I'm scared for our two dogs, one of them is 10 years old, and I don't want to lose him, he can barely handle the summers already. I live in constant panic because I'm scared our house will burn down in the heat, our attic is packed with a lot of stuff and if it burns down we lose almost all of our important stuff. I don't want to lose my home, my dogs, or any of my family members. And on top of this constant fear and panic that i feel in my whole body, we have to save electricity and water. That's why I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think the second part of Jealous Type will be uploaded very soon. Right now my life is too busy with all of these things that i have to deal with. My mind is just too full and scared at the moment, I'm so sorry guys. I'll try to work on it as much as I can, but I wish I could just write it without feeling guilty about using my phone too much or feeling scared. I want to work on my fanfictions with clear mind. Hope you understand this, sorry If i'll be inactive β‘
