Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1 Pound Beef Stew Meat 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder Salt & Pepper, to taste 1 10.5 Ounce Can French Onion Soup 3 Cups Beef Broth 12 Ounces Egg Noodles 1 Cup Sour Cream 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese 1 Cup French Fried Onions Instructions: Heat Olive Oil: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the Beef: Add the beef stew meat and season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the beef is seared on all sides. Simmer with Soup and Broth: Add the French onion soup and beef broth to the pot. Bring to a simmer and let the beef cook on low for 10 minutes. Cook the Noodles: Add the egg noodles to the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender. Add Dairy: Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the sour cream and Parmesan cheese. Serve: Sprinkle with French fried onions as desired before serving. Serving Suggestions: Enjoy this hearty dish as a main course for a comforting dinner. A hearty and flavorful soup featuring the rich combination of sweet potatoes and Italian sausage. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner in just 40 minutes.
Ingredients: 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced. 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed. 1 onion, finely chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes. 6 cups chicken broth. 1 tsp dried thyme. 1 tsp paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 cups kale, chopped. 1/2 cup heavy cream.
Instructions: Break up the Italian sausage into crumbles and brown it in a large pot over medium-low heat. Put in the minced garlic and chopped onions. Saut until the onions become clear. Then add the chicken broth, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Also add the diced sweet potatoes and tomatoes. Once the soup starts to boil, lower the heat and let it cook for 20 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are soft. Put in the chopped kale and cook for another 5 minutes, until the kale is soft. Add the heavy cream and stir it in. Let the soup cook for five more minutes. If you need to, change the seasonings and serve hot.
