Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1 Pound Beef Stew Meat 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder Salt & Pepper, to taste 1 10.5 Ounce Can French Onion Soup 3 Cups Beef Broth 12 Ounces Egg Noodles 1 Cup Sour Cream 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese 1 Cup French Fried Onions Instructions: Heat Olive Oil: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the Beef: Add the beef stew meat and season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the beef is seared on all sides. Simmer with Soup and Broth: Add the French onion soup and beef broth to the pot. Bring to a simmer and let the beef cook on low for 10 minutes. Cook the Noodles: Add the egg noodles to the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender. Add Dairy: Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the sour cream and Parmesan cheese. Serve: Sprinkle with French fried onions as desired before serving. Serving Suggestions: Enjoy this hearty dish as a main course for a comforting dinner. Indulge in the rich flavors of this Braised Pork Ragout with Couscous. Tender pork cubes, aromatic herbs, and vegetables come together in a savory tomato-based sauce, making it a comforting and satisfying dish.
Ingredients: 1.5 lbs pork shoulder, cubed. 1 cup couscous. 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes. 1 onion, finely chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 carrots, diced. 2 celery stalks, diced. 1 cup chicken broth. 1/2 cup red wine. 2 tablespoons tomato paste. 2 teaspoons dried oregano. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Add salt and pepper to the pork cubes. Warm up the olive oil in a big pot over medium-high heat. The pork cubes should be browned all over. Take it out and set it aside. You can put onions, garlic, carrots, and celery in the same pot. Cook the vegetables in oil until they get soft. Add the tomato paste and cook for two minutes. To clear the pot, add red wine. Put the pork back in the pot after it has been browned. Chicken broth, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper should be added. Bring to a low boil. Cover and cook on low heat for an hour and a half to two hours, or until the pork is tender and the flavors blend. Follow the directions on the package to make couscous. Put the pork ragout that has been braised on top of the couscous. Add fresh parsley as a garnish. Braised Pork Ragout with Couscous is a hearty and tasty dish.
