My spamton mortality/discourse/whatever opinion is that yeah he did do all that and perhaps is a smidge bit evil but it's okay. he still gets to hang out with the gang and aid them on their adventures as a cool pair of shades with a money buff . And. He's their friend now, it's true, trust me. "He tried to kill them" What's a little attempted murder between friends? My dumb hc is that at least Kris does not gaf anymore that Spamton tried to take their soul. it's all good now, trust. The nonbinary lion does not concern themselves with attempts on their life. Nobody in the gang or in castle town calls Spamton redeemed or "good now", he's just allowed to frolic freely through town like a normal citizen, and every darkner who hates him or simply wish he didn't live there just has to put up with it because the lightners (and Ralsei (and lancer)) adopted this little evil freak as their pet uncle. Again, not redeemed, but I like to think he's chilled out enough to the point of not having any schemes to make it bigger anymore.
