Today is a day of 2βs, a reminder that we are on the right path. β£ β£ I am pleased to share some health news with you that has reinforced my sincere belief that despite any challenges, I am, in fact, on the right path. β£ β£ Slowly but steadily, with a deeply grateful heart,a curious mind, and eager for all the possibilities to find the way, Iβm rewriting my story.β£ β£ A small handful of you knows there has been a possibility that I have a rare blood cancer called Polycythemia. It causes your bone marrow to make too many red blood cells. This thickens your blood, slowing its flow, which may cause serious problems. I have added many things since May 2021 to my already overflowing healing toolbox to help assist with this concern.β£ β£ I finally agreed to take the genetic test to determine if I had it. I felt deeply that I didnβt. Iβm happy to report that I learned today that I am, in fact, correct in that I DO NOT, I repeat, I DO NOT have Polycythemia.β£β€οΈβ£ β£ If this wasnβt enough great news, thereβs more. I continue to rewrite the story of my health dance with each new dance move I put into place, and I thank my dear friend Angela @upanji for her guidance on this & for being there yesterday during my MR ENTEROGRAPHY scan. The scan went beautifully; they provided a vein finder & an excellent team to deal with claustrophobia concerns. I rewrote that story; it was a positive experience, nothing like the past.β£ β£ My GI doc called today, and he was as excited as I was over the results. There was a possibility that the Crohn's disease had gone to my small intestine. This is very concerning because that is all I have left. I do not have a colon or several other pieces of equipment that you may have π The scan showed that my small intestine (Daisy) is doing fantastic, and there are no signs of strictures, abscesses, or fistulas. All terrific news!β£ β£ There are some other concerns that we are still keeping an eye on, and I am actively addressing them with my toolbox. The path may at times be bumpy, overcast and the road may seem long, but with patience, flexibility, and a focus on the possibilities, you CAN get there! *read rest in comments* #healingdance #medicalmedium #heal (at Connecticut) https://www.instagram.com/p/CaTOTJYrx1-/?utm_medium=tumblr
