rebecca banner was born reeva acharya to a catholic-hindu family. rebecca was her catholic name, but as her family clung more tightly to hinduisim in social situations, because of casteism, she went by reeva among her family and friends until she left home for college. her sister left india for the us first and she followed, to escape an arranged marriage and find better education.
You know what Transformers headcanons/expanded canon needs more of? Fauna that transforms. LIke, not just beastformers- but I mean, Turbofoxes that turn into dirtbikes. Moles that literally turn into drills. Imagine a cougaraider, Ravage-style, but midway thru chasing someone it turns into a fourwheeler and runs them down!
Birds that turn into hand grenades when startled.
Make Cybertron as ridiculous and dangerous as possible.

Insecticons are actually quite playful, among their own. While Insecticon “games” tend to only have loose rules and are not terribly complex, most involve simple practices- hide and seek, tag, wrestling, organizing into teams and trying to keep shiny objects from one another, perhaps! Insecticons mostly enjoy a good tussle, though- especially younger or smaller Insecticons, who will gang up to try and take down larger ones. Larger insecticons usually put up a token resistance, but then will pretend to be defeated and lay slack, feigning injury or death.
Once they’ve spent off extra energy, however, insecticons next favorite way to have fun? A nice mass grooming session, accompanied by food-sharing.

A Brief Headcanon
Arcee goes back to teaching post-canon, even though the war isn’t over, for several reasons. It’s not particularly easy for her, but she wants to do it because...
The war is no longer being fought on Cybertron - almost all the fighting happens offworld.
Cybertron’s education system has gone to scrap over the course of the war.
She winds up picking almost entirely “problem” students for her classes- students that get kicked from standard classes or have trouble with them.
So help her Primus SHE WILL GIVE THESE BABIES A CHANCE
