Infanta Luisa Fernanda of Spain
Infanta María Luisa Fernanda of Spain, Duchess of Montpensier (1832 – 1897) was the younger daughter of King Ferdinand VII and Queen Maria Christina of Spain.
During the reign of her elder sister Quen Isabella II, Luisa Fernanda was heir presumptive to the Spanish throne from 1833 until 1851. She became Duchess of Montpensier by her 1846 marriage to her first cousin once removed, Prince Antoine, Duke of Montpensier.

The Bride of Abydos is a poem written by Lord Byron in 1813. One of his earlier works, The Bride of Abydos is considered to be one of his "Heroic Poems", along with The Giaour, Lara, The Siege of Corinth, The Corsair and Parisina. These poems contributed to his poetic fame at the time in England.
