This video for some reason brought back a issue I had with SM when I first found NCT. I watched in a short span all 21 of them grow and from the beginning you know... you can tell fuckery when you see it. I appreciate all of them and their personalities. I know their weakness and strengths. One person in my opinion they’ve done wrong since day one is WinWin. When I say did him wrong I mean utilize him. WinWin has classical feet... I have watched them try to break him into hip-hop forms of dance. Sometimes his feet didn’t take so they hid him in the back. Then they said we’ll just use him for visuals. Then they said ok give him one word to speak. SM Entertainment destroyed the one rare artifact they had which was his Chinese dance training and squandered it. Do you know how fucking sick that shit would have been if they nurtured his dance skills and incorporated it into NCT. SICK!!! The same way you used Tao and his Martial Arts use his skills. The same way ya’ll watched Kai at the Olympics in his Royal Robe perform that’s what you were supposed to do with WinWin. BUT NO! No one in the room knew what to do with him so lets make him conform. No one in the room was able to add his style and choreograph it to the music. It’s sad. Sad. SM you fucked up. Fix it. Free WinWin and let that motherfucker be a Airbender if he wants to be, it’s his calling. I just needed to get that off my chest... (x)

I don't want to call anyone out here, but I just don't understand this sentiment that James' scene with Supergirl at CatCo was somehow erasure of his S2 stance on Lena Luthor.
James no longer distrusts Lena, true. But what makes this development growth rather than erasure or retcon is that he has fully acknowledged that he said what he did in S2 and that he was wrong.
And along this same vein, could we please stop pretending that GuardianCorp is somehow toxic or unhealthy? However it might have started, the writers have devoted considerable screentime in this back half of S3 to building this ship on a foundation of trust, honesty, and mutual respect.
It is everything we wanted Kara/Mon-el to be, and everything it wasn't. We don't have to make it our OTP-- we don't have to stop shipping Supercorp. But calling it toxic just because it isn't the pairing we want is sending all the wrong messages.
I mean, we spent the whole of last season decrying Mon-el's lack of development as a character and his inability to move beyond his Daxamite ways. So why are we villifying James for growing beyond his previous misconceptions and acknowledging his faults?
And the scene he shared with Lena was so beautiful, and so, so good. Where Mon-el lied through his teeth at every turn, James has broken the cycle of secrets. In the most gentle of scenes, he confessed everything about his past behavior before they dated and his actions as Guardian. And in the process he made Lena feel loved, and trusted, and emotionally safe enough to share her own secret.
That is a healthy relationship. Full stop.
Like it, don't like it, whatever. But please don't muddy the narrative by claiming this ship built on a foundation of trust and respect is unhealthy. Because it just isn't.
