he  struggles  to  keep  the  poor  art  from  her  grasp,  he  cannot  stand  the  way  he  sweats  nervously  as  she  reaches  for  it,  her  beautiful  face  drawn  as  a  poorly  misshapen  creature  onto  paper  —  unlike  him  to  fight  her  as  such,  but  he  can’t  help  it,  if  she  were  to  see,  how  would  she  react?  what  if  she  took  insult  to  the  way  he  portrayed  her  through  hands  that  betrayed  him.  ❛  mi  amora,  please,  you  do  not  even  want  to  see  this  -  the  glimpse  you  were  given  hardly  gave  away  the  disastrous  piece  of  art  that  it  is,  you  would  have  nightmares  just  looking  upon  it  again,  trust  me,  i’ve  had  them.    ❜  he  gives  a  wink,  hoping  she’d  that  the  plea  he’s  offered,  but  when  she  asks  of  him  so  kindly  and  speaks  so  fondly  of  the  terrible  hand  work  he  hands  it  back  to  her  with  a  exasperated  sigh.  ❛  please  know  that  my  hands  could  never  recreate  the  beauty  that  you  are,  and  also,  i  am  not  an  artist.  ❜     / @hcrbringer​

           leans down and places a light kiss on small elven girl’s forehead, immediately followed by rustling her hair. maybe if you stopped being such a menace you’d get a proper kiss :/

         a compliment.   rare coming from the warden  —  at least one as sincere.   he could swear that she does this with the intent purpose of catching him off guard.   the dirt road is still littered with darkspawn corpses,  the rest of the party off disposing of the strays.   lancelot glanced up at her,  pausing in the middle of wiping the blood off his blade on his pants.   head tilted,  he studies her expression,  trying to understand her intentions more clearly.   a small huff escapes his lips and he crosses over towards her.   before leaving denerim,  he would have never shown such a sign of affection to anyone,  but he was no longer bound to the code of the templars.   an arm wraps around evadne’s shoulder,  glancing down at his companion with a glimmer in blue eyes.   ❝   i can very well say the same for you. who else would manage to stumble into every single band of darkspawn in ferelden without fail?   ❞
