' ARE YOU SURE ABOUT TRYING THIS ? ’ there was an uncertainness in jay’s voice when he threw such a question to the other. it wasn’t that he was underestimated the other’s capability of trying the good stuffs but it took him by complete surprise when the latter had requested him to bake the brownies. perhaps, something had happened beforehand that made the other to give it a try anyway. however, jay wasn’t complaining about it either as he was more than happy to get high together with his friend. at the same time, he was feeling a little bit pumped to see the other’s reaction. ‘ it tastes like normal brownies by the way so you don’t have to worry ! ’

Sookhee’s kicked off the bartender heels, for sneakers as she sweeps along with the help of a few others, glancing in the direction of the younger staff, eyes narrowed with concern. “Buddy.” calling his name out to catch at his attention by the hooks of her long nails, she cracks a half grin, head cocked to the side. “You skipped out on your break, I heard. You haven’t eaten yet, have you? Come on. I’ll take you by the combini so we can pick up a snack before you go home. Let’s have ramyun together.” Someone, at least, needed to make sure that he was being taken care of.
