Are you a current HBCU student, educator or alumni? 𝙒𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙙. Last month Michelle Obama, Chris Paul and When We All Vote launched the HBCU Squad Challenge to empower HBCU students to take a leading role in voter registration, education, and mobilization efforts on their campuses.

President Joe Biden announced Thursday that he is appointing more than a dozen top education leaders, celebrities and athletes to his HBCU Board of Advisors, including When We All vote Co-Chair Chris Paul and Taraji P. Henson. The Advisory Board is tasked with advancing the goal of the of the HBCU Initiative, which dates back to the Carter Administration and aims to increase the capacity of HBCUs to provide the highest-quality education to its students and continue serving as engines of opportunity.
