15-year-old Haylee is the new kid in town, introverted, with a love for all things spooky and supernatural. While exploring a dusty thrift store one afternoon, she stumbles upon something life-changing: a life-sized cardboard cutout of Dean Winchester, the demon-hunting heartthrob from Supernatural. And Haylee's husband. (Not)

The store owner gives it to her for free, murmuring something cryptic like, "He has a way of... sticking around."

Haylee brings "Dean" home and props him up in her room. She jokes around with him at first, treating the cutout like a comforting presence—until strange things start happening:

The cutout moves slightly when no one is looking.

Objects around the room are mysteriously "salted" against spirits.

Her laptop mysteriously starts queuing up episodes of Supernatural she hasn’t watched yet. (Legit none but let's just say reruns)

One morning, she wakes up to find a Post-It note on her door: "You're being watched. Not by me. Stay safe. -D"

Convinced she's going crazy, Haylee investigates... only to discover the cutout isn’t ordinary cardboard—it's cursed, haunted, or enchanted. Somehow, Dean’s essence (or maybe just his personality?) is trapped in the cutout, acting as a weird ghostly protector.

Just as Haylee is getting used to her cardboard crush watching over her, an actual demon starts stalking her. In a dramatic showdown, the cutout sacrifices itself, bursting into flames and banishing the demon in a blaze of holy fire.

All that’s left is scorched cardboard and a final scribbled note:

"Keep kicking ass, Haylee. – Dean (Kinda)"

Months later, Haylee visits the thrift shop again. In the back corner is a new cutout: Sam Winchester. She just smiles.
