Is it any surprise that this won? Hayden did win worst exit after all and HayFinn did win the ‘Most Missed Ship’ category. As mentioned before, Hayden’s exit was just lazy writing, she was in the middle of a storyline with her pregnancy and they gave her an exit that you’d expect her to have if it was temporary and a return was in sight, but instead they gave her that exit knowing full well that she wasn’t returning. Now is the perfect time for Hayden to return, her sister is getting married, Finn is in a ‘happy’ relationship with Anna. The potential for a lot of drama is there. Especially when you consider that Finola Hughes is on her summer break currently, what is Finn going to do until she returns, because lets face it, he’s useless at the spy stuff. This would give Finn some good material to work with, learning that Hayden is back, his kid is alive and then just imagine things are thawing between HayFinn and then BAM! Anna returns. Granted, you’d probably be stuck with an ugly love triangle considering the writers are committed to Fanna. You can either have a twist in that Elizabeth knew about the HayFinn baby for a while. But come on writers! Hayden exit just had so many loose ends! It didn’t feel closed or satisfactory. Rectify this.
