upon further inspection of the house, lloyd had learned that there were four bedrooms in total and amenities to match.
that did not struck him as odd, given the living situations in apartments in the hive, but what he does spend more time thinking about is who his housemates will be. no one has yet to arrive - at least not that he knows of. it was very possible that his housemates had come in while he was out and then left before he returned.
perhaps it would be lucrative to leave a note on the kitchen table?
just as he’s pondering the idea, the front door opens. lloyd sits up straight in his seat in the bedroom he had claimed - tentatively, for he wasn’t entirely sure whether or not someone else had laid claim to it or not. all at once, he jumps off of his bed, darts out of the door and flies down the staircase to catch whomever had entered.
the girl he sees in the entryway has him pause with one foot on the ground floor, the other still up on a step.
“um, hi,” he starts, suddenly at a loss for words. after a moment, he inhales sharply. “are you one of the people who lives here with me?”
