“That bad dude has some friends. From Krypton. They also survived. But it’s just you and Zod and his crew of people. No one in your family, and no one else from your planet. You will have to carry on our legacy.”

“So, your cousin also survived the death of your whole planet. But it’s just you, Zod and his crew, and your cousin that survived. Not a whole lot, really. But that’s it. That’s the last of your planet.”

“And now your cousin’s alternate universe counterpart is also here? So I guess she technically counts as another survivor, kinda. It’s complicated.”

“Okay, so also you apparently have a dog. From your home planet. Because why not at this point? Anyway, blah blah blah, great tragedy. You are one of the small number of people to survive the death of Krypton, and that’s the important thing here.”
