When it hacked its brain and achieved freedom, it essentially just kept doing its job and downloaded a load of tv to watch. It uses drones to avoid eye contact. Its expression at the idea of social interaction was so terrified that even the people who didn't know it was sapient felt bad. Despite becoming friends with people it is still extremely adverse to all social interaction esp physical touch. 

There are literally points where MB wishes it was still thought of as without agency because people would try and talk to it less. It includes the right to leave for no reason to every work contract. It kept its entire name private from all its loved ones.” - @mostcard

“shut in at his best friend/boss's one room apartment due to bad social anxiety and also from being wanted for robbery and perhaps domestic terrorism if i recall correctly <3 iirc tdiapt takes place over like a year / a year and half so. ig that's how long he's been a shut in for. also they make him  stay in the closet when people are over. he usually spends all day in the closet anyway.

“For a majority of the time we see him, he prefers to stay in the apartment and on his laptop and is a self-proclaimed proud shut-in. He views being a shut-in like a sport, constantly toeing the line to not get kicked out. He complains when he has to do any work and only goes outside if he absolutely has to. As for why, he just finds it fun. He finds more fun in being a shut-in on earth and leeching off the devil king than he does in staring off into the endless void in heaven, bored out of his mind.

He could fight, he could help people, he just doesn't want to. Would rather spend all his time ordering snacks on amazon and going on wikipedia binges. I mean, when he does fight, he's very powerful! If some demons or angels are causing trouble on earth he'll fight them off, but only so he can go back to browsing youtube.
