Hashtag tip: Not always sure what a Hashtag is for: Using hashtags to categorise Posts by keyword: People use the hashtag symbol (#) before a relevant keyword or phrase in their post to categorise those posts and help them show more easily in platform search. Clicking or tapping on a hashtagged word in any message shows you other posts that include that hashtag. In short, it is for other people to find similar posts/images etc. You are inserting your post or image in a category. So if my post is about websites and graphic design tips, my hashtag post would look something like this: Read more about my #webdesigntips and #graphicdesigntips at www.jellyskydesigns.co.za If you are posting an image and you would like to categorise your image under a few hashtags, it would look something like this: #beach #holiday #oceanRemember to leave spaces between your hashtags.
