The yuri wheel says... Akane x Maki

My first thought was their similar childhoods. Both grew up in a bad situation but had to be strong in order to protect the even younger children around them. They also both had to do unwanted jobs to survive. Maki has a record of falling for people seen as stupid so I actually think this ship has a lot of potential. Akane likes being around people she can fight, which I think Maki would give into eventually. In UTDP, Akane wants to fight Maki. Maki calls her stupid but blushes.

I know it's because Akane is bad with names, but "Mookie" is adorable. There is another event where Maki is careful around Akane during the sports festival, since she's so athletic. Another note for this pair is that the two of them are both extremely strong.

They don't have any shared likes, but they do both have likes relating to exercise. They also have the shared experience of attacking the game’s antagonist, specifically their neck, multiple times.
