5/27/2026 - first order of business is to flag our brand new prop, so nobody pumps into in on their way through. the hangar.
Muscle memory is real and we are just not used to having the prop on there.

it's a milestone and we are pumped
5/26/2026 - then they get torqued to the proper value and we have a prop!
5/26/2026 - once aligned, the bolts must be screwed in at about the same level. It's slow and tedious, but it's going somewhere!
towards the end we use a special tool to get them in, as fingers no longer suffice

5/26/2026 - today we are trying the prop with this little dude
It is so much easier and controllable than with the pully system
with it we can bring the prop to the right level and start nudging the bolts in
5/25/2026 - we try to mount the prop with the pully system, but its hard to align the six bolts that need aligning with just two people.
We try a few times, then decide on a do-over tomorrow using our small crane as a helping hand.
Good effort. Made progress. Learned some things.
Go home and warm up. Do again tomorrow.
5/25/2026 - first there's a hole, then there's a dent, then you can remove the cover plate and clean the old oil out.
